All Ages

This annual outdoor exhibition features permanent works and others for sale by some of New Zealand's favourite sculptors.

2016 exhibitors include:

Russell Beck, Graham Bennett, Bing Dawe, Neil Dawson, Alison Erickson, Ben Foster, Hannah Kidd, Annabel Menzies Joyce, Tim Main, Doug Neil, Rebecca Rose, Llew Summers, Terry Stringer, Marté Szirmay, Greer Twiss, Robyn Webster and Bruce Young.

We're also welcoming emerging sculptors Donna-Marie Patterson and Mandy Cherry Joass, University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts.

Enjoy seeing the regrowth of native trees and shrub: over 6000 natives have been planted since 2010 making TSG a sanctuary for sculpture lovers and native birds.

Park Details:
Coffee caravan and water station onsite.

Entry is $10 pp and free to 16 years and under. Catalogue included in gate fee.

All welcome and onsite parking is free. The Garden is pram and wheelchair friendly. All tracks are grassed and the terrain is mostly flat. Picnickers are welcome during open hours (first three weekends in March 11am - 3pm).

What to bring: cash (no eftpos facilities available due to limited satellite reception), sunblock, sunhat and your camera. You should allow an hour to enjoy the one hectare garden - you're welcome to spend as long as you like.

In case of (heavy) rain, please call Melissa 021 24 22 462

Tai Tapu Sculpture Garden (TSG) is in a sheltered valley. If the weather is awful in town, it's probably still lovely at TSG.

Nearby: The (world famous in Canterbury) Raspberry Cafe and The Tai Tapu Store.
