Sing Ong Tai Chi is an international organization dedicated to thorough study and quality tuition of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. Tai Chi Chuan is practiced for health and self defence.

Tai Chi for health:
Sing Ong Tai Chi is a great way to relax and do your daily exercise. It maintains good health and youthfulness. It's easy on the joints and can be adapted to suit any fitness level and ability. It's well known that just 20 to 30 minutes of exercise daily will improve our lives. Like any exercise, tai chi improves your fitness and makes your muscles, bones, heart and lungs stronger.

Tai chi is an exercise that anyone can do and it uses natural, comfortable movements that are gentle on the joints. It is enjoyable and does not unduly stress the body. Performed properly, tai chi is a form of chi kung (qigong).

It is widely respected as an exercise that promotes overall good health and a calm mind. Our students have found tai chi useful for improving posture and recovering from a variety of back, knee, hip, neck and other injuries.

Tai Chi for self defence:
Tai chi originally became famous as a martial art. With proper training, Sing Ong Tai Chi is excellent for self defence. It uses skill and accuracy to overcome aggression. There is no risk of injury from training.

Tai chi is a safe and non-aggressive alternative for people who would like to learn self-defence.

The emphasis in our tradition of tai chi is to use skill and accuracy to overcome strength and aggression.

Free parking available around the school.

Training times:
