A weekend workshop on Saturday 5 November 2016 9am - 1pm with Karin Puttner.

Have a delicious afternoon tea together with German Sweet Yeast Cakes.

Cakes, using yeast as a raising agent, are very popular in Germany. We make one basic dough and create a variety of delicious cakes like Streuselkuchen, Nutplait, Brioche and Strudel. Ingredients are fine wholemeal flours and white flour, eggs, butter, fruit, milk or coconut cream, free from all artificial flavours and other additives. Cakes can be frozen, so you are always prepared for surprise visitors.

Course fee includes ingredients.

Karin is an experienced nutrition consultant. She qualified as a certified Health Adviser, under Dr Bruker at the Society for Health Education, GGB, in Lahnstein, Germany. Our mission: To provide quality adult and life long learning opportunities which empower individuals in their personal lives and as members of society.
