Lauren Armstrong (Vocals) and Alexander Boulton (Guitar-Tenor Banjo) have been playing music together since the beginning of 2015. Being part of the New Zealand School of Music Jazz Program they have had the opportunity to play with many different groups of musicians but have consistently played together as a duo.

Lauren and Alex specialise in jazz and pop songs from the 1920s through to the 1950s, with a modern spin and tasteful balance between the jazz guitar-vocal blend and the tenor banjo. The duo will provide you with catchy tunes that you won't be able to help but tap your foot to.

This concert is the second in the museum's Sunday afternoon winter concert series sponsored by Professor Jack Richards.
