With more strings than you can poke a stick at, this Australian trio will uplift you with beautiful melodies, poignant songs... and tunes played at breakneck speed. Hammered dulcimer player Jackie Luke grew up in the Waikato, but for the last three decades has travelled the globe seeking out music for her unusual instrument.

She is joined by Greg Wilson on Celtic harp & accordions, and the innovative cellist Rita. Together they produce a stunning mix of Celtic classics (O’Carolan, Dougie McLean) and musical gems from around the world. They also write their own tunes, and feature songs from Jackie’s Kiwi heritage. Springtide has played at major folk festivals and clubs around Australia, and toured UK, Ireland, USA and China. Their recent CD “The Wisdom of Trees” invites you to tap your feet, or just chill out to the sounds of dulcimer, harp and cello - perfect!
