Charlotte Glass, Director for Agri Magic (farm systems support with nutrient and environmental focus) will share her thoughts on this very relevant topic that affects not only affects farmers day to day activities but also the wider rural economy.

We will be at the Speight's Ale House, 2 George St, Timaru on Wednesday 11th May. Come along at 7pm for a chat before Charlotte starts; your $10 ticket includes a complimentary drink and nibbles.

Charlotte set up Agri Magic to support farmers in negotiating regulation associated with water quality while keeping focused on their farming goals. Services include helping with aspects of obtaining consents, due diligence associated with sale and purchase, farm environmental planning, systems modelling using tools such as Farmax.

With a very practical background in mixed farming operation including dairy, sheep, bull beef, pigs and arable enterprises Charlotte made agriculture in NZ her career due to her love farming. Her career has included all sorts of roles, from formulator of compound feeds in one of Europe’s largest multi species feed mills, to Dairy NZ Project manager, dairy farm consultant and more recently as a farm environmental consultant.

As well as the usual practicing certificates (e.g Adv Nutrient Management) Charlotte has a B Agr Sc (hons) from Lincoln University and an M Sc Animal Nutrition from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
