Interested in a career in front of the camera? The South Seas philosophy is full on, total immersion, no holds barred practical based training.

Screen Acting students work alongside the Film students for a year's worth of studio shows and location film shoots. Skills covered include acting technique, voice work, stunts, performance skills, accents, professional skills, yoga, movement - the actor's body is their instrument.

The aim of the Audition Workshop is to evaluate your application and to check that you clearly understand the nature of the course. We also appreciate the opportunity to get to meet you personally and to show you the school’s equipment and facilities if you have not been here before.

Because of the demanding and competitive nature of Film and Television work, we want to evaluate your skills in the following areas: Potential for screen acting, Script Interpretation, Taking Direction, Willingness to work with other actors in a free flowing and stimulating environment, Physical and emotional resilience to undertake the course and Ability to take creative risks.

Applicants need to prepare a 2-minute monologue and perform this piece to camera. The piece should be age appropriate and make a truthful connection with you as an actor. During the workshop, you will also take part in a physical movement class, a voice class, and an acting technique class.

You can apply for the diploma course through our through our website and our application team will be in touch with you via email from there. A further audition workshop will be held in early December.
