  • Children (accompanying adult free): $5.00

Pre-booking essential for all sessions, spaces are limited.

Week one: Cost $5 per child/per session, accompanying adult free of charge, suitable ages 4 - 12. Tutors are Teressa Matthews, Hullabaloo Art Exploration and Amber Graham.

Week two: Gold coin entry, accompanying adult free of charge, suitable ages 5-10. Tutor is Melody Craw.

Week One: 26th September:
- Morning 10am - 12pm Pop Art:
Create a Pop Art self-portrait in Roy Lichtenstein style. You will learn how to simplify shapes and colours using the famous Ben Day dot technique.

- Afternoon 1pm - 3pm:
Collage Mixed media Challenge Get inspiration from the museums galleries to make a collage. You will create art and patterns by arranging different pieces of mixed media in different shapes. Suitable

27th September:
- 10am - 12pm Dick Frizzell:
A preview of Dick Frizzell’s artworks for his coming exhibition opening 14th October will inspire your own painting, you’ll gain experience using bold colour and strong lines.

Wednesday 28th September

- 1pm - 3pm Chalk Pastels:
Starting with a “drawing style” treasure hunt, we will follow on to learn some new tricks and tips using chalk pastels, and then create your own masterpiece using your new skills.

- 3rd October - Afternoon only 1-3pm What’s in a Flag?
Design and make a row of bunting flags, inspired by your family or your pets or whatever it is that you find interesting. You’ll be exploring your ideas through the wide range of arty options provided.
