"A man of epic, soaring, operatic vision."
– Sunday Star-Times

Co-created with filmmaker/artist Florian Habicht, Rubbings From a Live Man combines documentary-style interview footage with theatrical reenactments and dramatic monologues to create a work that captures the complexity, contradiction and creativity of one of Aotearoa's singular creative souls: prolific thespian and theatre artist, Warwick Broadhead.

"It's rare to see such a creative and singular spirit captured so completely on film, and this makes for compelling viewing."
– Michael Hurst

"A colourful and unique take on the documentary genre."
- Jacob Powell, Lumiere Reader
