Join Auckland Council’s Biodiversity team for a walking tour of a rare and ancient ecosystem in Epsom’s Withiel Thomas Reserve.

Discover what makes the Withiel Thomas and Almorah Road lava rock forest unique, how you can help protect it and take home tips on caring for native biodiversity on your own property.

Meet on the grassy area in front of the reserve. Parking is limited to a single side of Withiel Drive and there is further on street parking on adjoining roads. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

Spaces are strictly limited, to RSVP please email: biodiversity@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz with your preferred time (1 pm or 2 pm).
