Ever wondered about the story of your house? Heritage New Zealand in association with Ashburton Museum is hosting a workshop on how to research the history of your home.

Presenters from Heritage New Zealand, Archives New Zealand, Ashburton Museum and Ashburton District Council, and local archivists, including the Ashburton Family History Group, will look at the various go-to sources, from land deeds and books, to building and architectural plans, wills, photographs, correspondence files, QVs and rates records.

Our presenters will outline the vast array of resources available and show you how and where to look.

Bring your questions and come and join us for a relaxed wander through the records of yesteryear. Morning tea provided.
