250 Record Store Day Releases (or more!) In keeping with the ethos of Record Store Day, all purchases are on a first come first served basis. Get your place in the queue to get your favourite release in your hands. We like to look after our customers at Southbound, so while you wait or browse, there will be free coffee and yummy baking until midday.

In the afternoon we will be enjoying performances by some special artists:
- Tami Neilson - hot on the heels from storming Canada and a whirlwind NZ Tour.
- The Leers - Debut album off the block and the vinyl due for April.
- Delaney Davidson - adding a wonderful addition to his Ltd Edition Vinyl Release and documentary screening.

Devil In the Parlour
Every Record Store Day Southbound has the pleasure of hosting our friend Delaney Davidson. This year he has pulled out all his magic tricks and comes with a special limited release and a documentary screening both aptly titles ‘Devil In The Parlour”. The Vinyl is limited to 300 copies in NZ ( Red & White/Black & White/Gold & White) recorded in Los Angeles with Neil Baldock at the studio of Black Eyed Peas. Recorded as Delaney plays them, no over dubbing. Liner notes by the one and only Bruce Russell (The Dead C). Hand screen printed cover, designed and printed by Delaney Davidson himself - https://youtu.be/OkRrJ9CskZw.

The Documentary is about the endless stint of touring by musician Delaney Davidson through out Europe and the USA. Featuring live tour footage and incidental “never heard before “ music written on the road and, until now, stored in Delaney’s deep, dark vaults. Throughout this documentary we get insights into his creative process, his songwriting habits and inspirations and his view of the world with its quirks and human foibles.

Delaney’s wry sense of humour and his theatre of unease are a feature though the film. International Premiere at Southbound Records April 2016
