Join us for a nourishing weekend, exploring Mudras integrated with yoga, relaxation and meditation.
Scientists say that body language accounts for 80% of human communication. Mudras are expressions of particular states of consciousness using positions of the hands, head, eyes and full body. They both reflect and also influence states of body, mind and energy. In short, Mudras are conscious body language!

The practices of yoga, including Mudras, awaken, balance and redirect Prana or vital life force thus influencing different realms of experience, be it physical, mental, emotional, psychic or spiritual.

In this weekend, explore Mudras independently and integrated with relaxation, meditation and Hatha yoga classes. Learn about the therapeutic, pranic and spiritual benefits of different Mudras and how to conserve prana for more optimal brain function and enhancement of meditative states.

Swami Karma Karuna, founding member and director of Anahata Yoga Retreat, NZ, is a dedicated, intuitive yoga teacher with more than 25 years of experience. She teaches around the globe including furthering her training and offering yoga sadhana courses yearly in India. Specialising in Yoga Nidra, Prana Vidya, Chakras and Yoga for Women's Health, she is committed to sharing simple, practical and powerful yoga techniques for transformation.

Sannyasin Atmabhava, a long-time resident of Anahata Yoga Retreat, came to yoga because of health reasons and the practical and scientific methods immediately made a strong impression. He is a living example of how health can be transformed through yoga. His passion is in sharing the simple and readily accessible practices that bring about transformation with specific interests in Yogic Lifestyle, Diet & Nutrition, Pranayama, Meditation, Mantra and Kirtan.
