Come join us for unstructured play in nature. Anthropology and indigenous child-rearing practices all point to the importance of allowing children free play in nature.

In our activity-filled and technology-filled world, kids have less and less time to do what we evolved for - climbing trees, exploring, playing outdoor games, and laughing. Above all, free play in nature is what leads to young adults who care enough about the natural world to protect it.

Come join the Kaitiaki Collective for a day of play - kids can miss a day of school!

The KC was started last year by teacher Joey Moncarz, now co-founder of the Deep Green Bush-School, soon to be New Zealand's first nature-immersion school.

Open to ages 6-14. Kids should bring a backpack with rain gear, lunch, snacks and water. We're a technology-free group, so kids should leave gadgets at home. Parents are welcome to join with kids, but we ask you not use cameras or phones.

Please call to confirm attendance and space. Spaces are limited. Call - 021 060 7890.
