This is a special opportunity to receive teachings from Gen Kelsang Rabten who is the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director of New Zealand and Australia. Enjoy a day of light, joyful teachings from Gen Kelsang Rabten's wisdom and experience.

About the Day Course
On Sunday 3 April Our National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Rabten, will be visiting Christchurch to give a day course. Those of you have heard Gen Kelsang Rabten speak in past years will know that he is a truly inspiring teacher. He has a deep knowledge and understanding of Buddhist teachings and is able to present these in a way that is easy to understand, humorous, and presented in a way that we can apply practically and immediately to our daily situations.

On this course, learn how anxiety, stress and depression as well as other conditions such as tension, nervousness and worry have their roots in our state of mind and show how we can reduce and eventually overcome these conditions by working on our mind with a combination of meditation and positive thinking. Many people suffer from anxiety and stress at some time or other. Sometimes it is due to stressful work, sometimes due to problems at home, and sometimes due to difficult relationships.

Cost: $60 - includes a vegetarian lunch.

What to expect at a class
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them.
There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
