Open Day - Dirty Dozen Weed Swap

Join us to celebrate our environment, learn some more conservation skills and swap pest weeds for a native plant.

What’s happening:
- Kid’s activities including native bird making
- Pest trapping demonstration
- Weed swap the dirty dozen* (until the natives run out).
- Sausages on the BBQ – free
- Meet DOC staff and others involved in local conservation projects.

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ are; wilding conifers, woolly nightshade, buddleia, moth plant, English ivy, wandering willie, Darwin’s barberry, climbing asparagus, old man’s beard, banana passionfruit, Japanese honeysuckle and spartina.
