Peter Peryer 29 May – 26 Jun 2016

New Plymouth’s former TSB Bank has been re-imagined as a temporary public space, with the iconic building housing exhibitions including artworks by renowned contemporary local artists. The first of these exhibitions will showcase the work of one of New Zealand’s leading photographers, Peter Peryer. Twelve years since New Plymouth has seen a solo exhibition by Peryer, more than 20 of his works, both photographs and sculpture, will be on display.

This collection has been carefully selected to complement the architecture of the space and to capture the character of Taranaki. The first exhibition is of Peter Peryer’s work, opening from 4 – 6pm 28 May, then each day from Sun 29 May until Sun 26 June. Young Taranaki artist Andrew Beck will exhibit in the Old Bank Space through July, then there will be a moving image exhibition through August.
