An opportunity to learn about mindfulness, mindful eating, and how this can help reduce binge eating and help us to achieve a healthy weight, with an experienced Clinical Psychologist.

Mindful Eating teaches us how to pay attention to what we eat, to be present-focused, to savour the experience, and to listen to our mind and body. Learning mindfulness helps us to become aware of "being on autopilot" and how this costs us enjoyment, as well as how this contributes to unwanted behaviours, such as over-eating, smoking, and bingeing.

The hour-long workshop will involve practical exercises to demonstrate the core components of Mindful Eating, as well as giving you tips around how using mindful eating could help you move closer to your health goals.

Places are limited and this is a small workshop, limited to 8-10 places per workshop - with enough interest we will run further workshops. Please contact admin@resiliencepsychologychristchurch.com to register; the cost is $42 per person, with discounts available for Community Services Card holders.
