Solving our Daily Problems with Love - Week of 14 August to week of 25 September - 7 weeks:
Most of us feel there is room for improvement in our relationships with our partner, at work, or with our family and friends.

On this course, we will explore how Buddhist meditation has the power to profoundly improve and transform our relationships, both past and present. Learn how to let go of painful attitudes and replace them with love, respect for others, patience and kindness.

That’s Your Karma – week of 2 October to week of 16 October 3 weeks
Due to our misunderstanding of karma, we create problems and suffering for ourselves and destroy our own happiness. By purifying our mind and engaging in pure actions, we come to abide in a pure world.

Developing Concentration – week of 23 October to week of 13 November 4 weeks
Through training in mindfulness and concentration we can gain control of our mind and improve the quality of our life by overcoming harmful states of mind and find stillness and peace within. Pure concentration also helps to make our body and mind comfortable and flexible and is essential if we wish to remain at peace in daily life.

Integrating a Spiritual Life into our Daily Life – week of 20 November to week of 11 December 4 weeks.

It feels like our spiritual life and our daily life are pulling in different directions. Learn methods to transform our daily activities and experiences into the spiritual path to make our whole day meaningful.

What to expect at a class:
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or to benefit from them. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 90 minutes. Anyone can practise meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
