Judith Clark (1931–2014) was a preeminent piano pedagogue, prominent Wellingtonian and former Head of Piano Studies at the School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington. She was a vice-president, fellow, and life-member of IRMT. This series, named in her honour, presents renowned concert pianists from NZ and abroad across four different concert dates. All concerts are at 4 pm on Sundays at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music.

In the final concert in the series, Romanian-born pianist Eugene Alcalay presents a programme of 'character pieces from four era's'.
A Steinway Artist and Fulbright Scholar, Alcalay has performed in Europe, Asia, South America, and throughout the United States, including New York’s Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall. His CD, Lyrical Liszt, released by the Partita Records label, has been praised for “poetry, sensitivity . . . admirable tonal variety . . . beautiful playing throughout” (EPTA UK). An experienced teacher, Alcalay has also given master classes and/or short-term residencies on four continents.
