Jamaine Ross is a regular on TV3’s ‘7 Days’, featured on Maori TV’s satirical comedy show, ‘Brown Eye’, but you might know him as ‘the brown guy with the beard and the hat’.

He's been cracking up audiences all over the country with stories of his childhood experiences and obsessions, and his keen observations on everyday life, which he sometimes explores further than necessary, but to hilarious effect.

Come see this born and bred Christchurchian as he tries to be Jamaine, and say Funny Things For 3 Nights Only!

Jamaine's stand-up comedy achievements include winning the Raw Comedy Quest in 2012, opening for Tenacious D on their New Zealand tour in 2013, and being nominated for the prestigious Billy T Award in 2014

He spends his days as a writer on TV3's 'Jono and Ben', records a weekly comedy podcast with his comedian friends called 'The Issues Podcast', and is one third of sketch comedy trio, 'Frickin Dangerous Bro'.

"Joyously childish, but thoughtful and intelligent too." - Alice Harbourne - gatherandhunt

"Hilariously funny, and his comedy is very intelligent and accessible." - Chelsea Hughes - ruminator

"I've known this guy for 30 years. Actually, he's my son." - Jack Black - International Comedy Superstar
