What a day on the bay! Where the craziness of The Hits 90.4 Birdman switches to the adrenalin buzz of the Vincent Holdings Jet Sprints, then carries into the fast paced fun of the JUCY Undy 500, before hilarity ensues with the Mitre 10 Mega Raft Race. Phew!

If you enjoy watching crazy, brave, and enthusiastic people launch themselves into icy cold Lake Wakatipu, you don’t want to miss the legendary The Hits 90.4 Birdman competition. If you think you are one of these people get your entry in Now!

The adrenalised Vincent Holdings Jet Sprints are a sight and sound to behold as jet boats are sped through the tight course.

Only the brave showcase their talents in the JUCY Undy 500 over a crazy obstacle course, in of course their JUCY undies! They will be competing for the chance to win their very own 7 day JUCY campa adventure!

It’ll be 'Ahoy Matey' as a collection of rogue Pirates and Buccaneers take to the lake in their handmade vessels in the Mitre 10 Mega Raft Race. Held in conjunction with Coastguard Queenstown the event promises mayhem, anarchy and skull-duggery on the high waters - all for a great cause. Which raft will survive the course and who will be the first to return to shore? Meanwhile kids can get hands-on and have fun in the Mitre 10 Mega Marquee with an ‘Easy As for Kids’ workshop, plus the BBQ will have bangers on the sizzle. All proceeds raised go toward the building of the Coastguard Queenstown boat shed.

More than $7,500 worth of prizes are up for grabs today so visit winterfestival website for more information on how to enter
