Join us at Bellota Tapas bar with Brazilian guitarist Henrique Morales, Chilean percussionist Edwin Westermeier “Tumbao” and Brazilian vocalist Alda Rezende for an evening of music, wine and tapas!

Music starts at 5:30pm.

Henrique Morales is originally from Dom Pedrito, a small town south of Brazil. His musical influences are wide and varied, bossa-nova, samba, pop rock, classical, Latin, Afro, jazz, fusion, be bop just to name a few! Henrique also sings in three languages, Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Edwin Westermeier (Tumbao) is originally from Chile, and specialises in percussion and South American rhythms. He has become a driving force in the local Latin music scene and his intimate knowledge of Cuban and Latin rhythms is a growing ingredient in the changing and exciting music of New Zealand.

Alda Rezende is something of a household name in her home country of Brazil. Now residing in New Zealand, Alda is a veteran of Wellington’s jazz circuit, spicing long-time collaborator Jordan Crayford’s intricate rhythms with her samba-infused soul in regular gigs about-town. It is Alda’s journey and her city of birth that influences her to this day.

Don’t miss these three international artists coming together for a night to remember!
