"E lei kau, e lei hoʻoilo i ke aloha."
"Love is worn like a wreath through the summers and the winters." - Hawaiian proverb.

Join with our special guest artists Walter Kāwikakaka´iulani Aipa, Emalani Case PhD and Kamalani Kapeliela from the Hawai'i Culture Centre to learn the traditional art form of Lei making.

The Hawwai'i Culture Centre artists are here to celebrate Matariki with us, to weave our collective stories together, much like a lei, to both inspire and empower each other. All are welcome to this drop-in workshop in the gallery, suitable for adults, koha appreciated
