Hard Cases is a weekly open mic, held downstairs at S&Ms, where local comics (and guests, when they're in town) come to test out new material, have a few drinks and just generally be hilarious.

**Hard Cases is built on the idea of giving anyone and everyone a chance to jump up and give it a go**

Whether you've been performing for ages, or for the first time, if you're keen to participate, it's a 6:45pm sign up (first come, first dibs of set position) - max of 12 performers so get in quick! We've had super stars of comedy drop by to sets, you just never know what's going to happen at Hard Cases.

*Set lengths* are 5 minutes - you will get a light at 4 mins from our host to let you know you should be wrapping up shortly.

We have a different host up every night, sometimes from local Wellington Comics and sometimes special guests. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter @capcomedy to find out more information about who it is this week!

7:00pm is showtime!

When the show is all wrapped up, stick around and sing some karaoke with the comics to finish off a perfect Thursday.

Show is koha. If you had a good time, then let us know with a donation. Money goes to the Humorous Arts Trust, a group of comedy loving individuals dedicated to helping new comics become great ones.
