The Hum, in association with Hamilton Fringe and The Meteor present two evenings of Hamilton Music in celebration of New Zealand Music Month.

The first Show features:
- Ghosts Of Electricity
- Bridge City Bitche$
- The New Millennium Beatniks
- Jahna and Rubita

The Second Show features:
- Imploder, Bruno Merz
- Harry Parsons
- Aorangi
- Super Narco Man
- Glass Shards

The lineup features some pretty stunning local acts, Bruno Merz is an Internationally accomplished artist and Mr Richard Selinkopf of The New Millennium Beatniks is our very own authentic Beat Poet. Imploder is Jamie Stones band, a man who has had a phenomenal influence on the music of Hamilton and Jahnas’ Pete Fountain is a critically acclaimed solo artist with a string of self produced albums. SuperNarcoMan are our Punk Rock musical cuzzies from the Bay and Ghosts Of Electricity are also based further afield but call the swamp their home and return often with their high powered indie punk.

These are joined by some of the finest up and coming musicians, producers and songwriters the region has to offer; Aorangi, Glass Shards, Harry Parsons and Bridge City Bitche$ are from the new crop of local minstrels and Minstresses and each is a phenomenal talent in their own right.

This New Zealand Music Month we are fighting to keep the doors of the Meteor open, we face losing our best and most versatile venue (The best black box theatre in the country) if we don’t raise enough money to Earthquake proof the building. It is an ongoing campaign and our effort is but a drop in a very deep bucket but every cent counts.
