The Fiordland Arts Society it thrilled to host its 35th annual multi-media art exhibition at Labour Weekend, 2016.

The exhibition will feature the work of guest artist Samuel Earp, plus the artworks of many other Fiordland and Southland artists.

Introducing our guest artist: Samuel Earp is a young, and very talented international landscape and seascape artist, who was born on the Island of Guernsey and grew up in the South West of England. He has been living in NZ since 2009, and currently, resides in Queenstown.

Since early childhood, Samuel has always loved painting pictures of water and the sea. When he paints, he likes to use natural organic colours. Samuel is fascinated by the combination of light, shadow and colour and how it interacts with his subject matter. Samuel's paintings capture the movement of water, the breaking waves and heavy swells, the drama and atmosphere of nature.
