This Copernicus and Curie workshops one of the varied educational presentations for families we offer at the museum, with 2 hours of learning and activities. This programme is for 7 years plus.

Learn about the scientific work and discoveries of Nicholas Copernicus (sun-centred solar system) and Marie Curie (discovery of radium and polonium, development of mobile X-Rays for the battlefield in WW1. A 2x Nobel Prize winner.

Create a model of the solar system and/or a model X-ray picture to take home. You will also view two short visual presentations. Stay awhile and see the galleries in the museum, we are open till 4 pm.

Other AHF event is Polish paper cut out workshop and is on at 10 am - 12noon.
