This talk will be presented by Sr Helen Bergin OP.

As a young woman St Catherine (1347-1380) chose not to marry or enter a convent, instead she joined the Third Order of St. Dominic. When she was 21 she had a vision in which she was told to help the poor and sick. Her subsequent activities quickly attracted followers who helped her in her mission. St. Catherine was drawn further into the world as she worked, and eventually she began to travel, calling for reform of the Church and for people to confess and to love God totally.

This talk is part of the series Seeking Truth: Celebrating 800 Years of Dominican Life.

Cost: A koha/donation is invited to help us cover our costs.
