In June the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union. This has been one of the most talked about global events since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Since then there has been much discussion about what this decision means for people and businesses working in, visiting or trading with the UK and the EU.

Join the British High Commissioner, Jonathan Sinclair, to hear his views on what a post-Brexit Britain looks like, what it means for the UK-New Zealand relationship and the role that the UK will play in the world once it leaves the European Union.

Jonathan Sinclair joined the UK Foreign Office in 1996 after completing a Masters in International Relations. He has previously served in India and the USA and, in London, has done a wide range of roles where foreign and domestic policies and politics intersect, including on Europe, national security, and trade and investment.
