Learn how to create a blog that brands want to work with! Megan Singleton is creator and editor of successful travel blog Blogger at Large. In this half day training course she brings her 10 years of experience as a blogger to help new bloggers grow their blog into a business and to help businesses use content and social media to grow.

Who should attend?
If you have a blog and want to learn how to monetise it and work with brands, this workshop is for you.
If you want a job as a blogger, this workshop will give you a great leg up into what is required to be successful.
If you’re already blogging but no one is reading, this workshop will show you some easy ways to promote it.

How to create content that works
How to define your unique voice
Positioning yourself as an authority/thought leader
How often you should be writing new posts
The importance of images and how to use them cleverly
How to use crowd sourcing so effectively you won’t be having to write a blog post every day
How to use key words to attract search engines
Basic dos and don’ts of successful blogging

Having spent a month working with Facebook on the many ways to promote content, she will be bringing some of that learning to this session too so you can get some tips on how to effectively market your blog through Facebook.
