ASB Perspective 2025 is a thought leadership forum featuring ten women from diverse backgrounds each giving their own unique insights on the challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand agri-business into the future.

The forum will take place on stage @ The Regent on Broadway Avenue and be filmed with a live-studio audience. The event will also be live streamed via Stuff.co.nz/Business. Public participation in the audience and around the country is encouraged through a live Twitter stream using #NZAgInvest.

The live stream will begin at 7:30am.

The forum features ten female thought leaders from across the country involved in some way in the agri-space, in a round table style discussion. Each of the women will present a view on an aspect of agribusiness from their field of expertise with topics ranging from disruptive technology, export and trade, food innovation, through to farm processes and succession planning.

Following the presentations, the table will accept questions via a live Twitter feed for discussion using #NZAgInvest

ASB Perspective 2025 builds one of New Zealand Agri Investment Week’s key pillars, investment in talent, by providing a platform to showcase female thought leaders in, or associated in some way with the agri-sector. Giving women the platform to discuss their perspective on New Zealand’s future in agri, provides an opportunity for an arguably unheard voice in the agri-space to take centre stage.

The aim of the forum is to encourage new ‘players’ into a fast changing and growing agri-sector as well as expand common perception of what agri encompasses. Career opportunities within the agri-sector are becoming better recognised as highly analytical, professional and high tech, offering possible career pathways previously unexplored. The women who will present at the forum have varied backgrounds and expertise and will each bring a unique perspective to the discussions. The confirmed panelists are Susan Huria (Chair), Mavis Mullins, Traci Houpapa, Alison Watters, Katie Milne, Lucy Griffiths, Sarah Meikle, Emma Blott, Chelsea Millar, Leander Archer.

Perspective 2025 is run in association with ASB and proudly supported by Stuff.co.nz and UCOL.
