Get out your gloves and spades and celebrate Arbor Day by helping to plant our parks. Do a good thing for the environment, meet people and have fun!

Arbor Day is held annually on 5 June. The Parks planting calendar this year includes opportunities around that date to get involved at sites on the Port Hills, as well as Halswell Quarry and Bridge Reserve at South Brighton.

Saturday, 28th May
Meet at the top of Worsleys Rd

Bring your family and friends and leave a life-long legacy!

Planting days are held regularly through the year at several parks around Christchurch including Travis Wetland, Charlesworth Reserve and the Port Hills. Events are promoted on the Council website.
