Come and check out the work of Annaliese Rosa.

Here is her story:
I grew up in a very artistic and musical family where I was always encouraged to be creative. I began painting from a young age, developing a keen eye for the relationship between colour and my surroundings. I later discovered this to be synaesthesia. I associate people, memories, chords, letters, and numbers with colours. Due to this perspective, I established a love and desire for knowledge of the Universe, and my mother would often read me excerpts from Stephen Hawking’s books.

As time has passed and my creativity grew I found my love for art and science began to collide. I discovered that art is just as relevant and important to life as science, and so developed an interest in art as a form of therapy. Since then, I have worked with differently abled people of all ages to encourage freedom of expression through art. I have completed a certificate of fine arts at Whitecliffe and am currently studying fine arts with Honours at Massey in Wellington. Following this, I intend to do a Masters in Arts Therapy.
