A contemporary shadow dance interpretation of the Papua New Guinean legend Ale and Ole will be performed at Wintec.

The performance of Ale and Ole was put together by a second-year student group, Into the Shadows. The performance will feature four dancers, who come from a range of different dance backgrounds such as ballet and contemporary.

Come along to be transported into another world, were shadows dance and magic exists. Immerse yourself in a story where good triumphs evil and a family is put to the test. – Co-producer and director Emelyn McHardy.

The exhibition shall take place as part of the Bachelor of Media arts second year Audience Message Context (AMC) class. Groups of students were told to come up with a group exhibition idea, incorporating the concept of convergence culture.

Space is limited, so don’t miss out and come early.
