In partnership with churches in the Lower North Island, we’re excited to present A Night of Hope this May.
Olipa Chimangeni, a woman from rural central Malawi in Southern Africa, is coming to share the inspirational story of how she journeyed from living in extreme poverty to becoming the first female Member of Parliament in her community. Her story includes an unplanned pregnancy at 17, a forced marriage, a deadly diagnosis of HIV, and a cry to God for help. Olipa says that God brought hope into her world through World Vision.
A Night of Hope is a free event for all ages, featuring live music from talented social justice musician, Levi McGrath, who spent six months working with former child soldiers in Uganda.
