The Wellington Tramping and Mountaineering Club hosts a social evening every Wednesday. Each week we feature a different speaker, most often about tramping trips in NZ, but also highlighting adventures abroad and other topics important to trampers and mountaineers.

This Wednesday, one of our members who is a bit of a local weather expert (and photographer) will be talking about how to understand weather patterns when you go out into New Zealand's bush with a focus on what trampers need to know. This will be the first part of a two part series. The second part, will be on 21 October and focuses on how to use and interpret online weather tools.

We open the doors from 7:30 to 8pm for a cuppa, trip sign-ups and gear pickup. The talk starts at 8pm.

First time is free, $2 after that. No need to book, just come along.

See our website for more details about our club and how to join and get involved.
