The Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP or TPPA):
USA (Obama) -led talks between 12 Pacific Rim countries : USA, Australia, NZ, Canada, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Singapore, Vietnam-& Japan.

Nominally a 'Free trade' agreement it has little to do with trade (5 out of 29 chapters) & lots to do with patent & copyright restrictions, monopolies & control by the 600+ corporations that are pushing it.

The TPPA gives huge powers to corporations, who will be able to sue countries & Governments, stopping them from legislating to protect the health & safety of their citizens or their environment. Come and find out more from 6-8pm on Monday 2nd March.
