  • Sat 18 Apr ’15, 10:00am – 6:00pm

Where:

Pukeokahu District, Mangohoata Road, RD2, Pukeokahu, Taihape

Restrictions:

A huge challenge with a difference.... a marathon over 26 miles (40 km) of steep hill country terrain in the back blocks of Taihape with a twist - its a race between two legs and four!

A Technical race for horse and rider based on heart rates and vet checks on route, whilst runners just need to go hard and keep up the pace! Based on the hugely popular Man versus Horse, Wales, it is the only event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. With the course set to incorporate the iconic mountain of Pukeokahu, this is going to be one of the most grueling marathons on the NZ running calendar. A unique event to push every competitor to the best of their capabilities, and beyond!

All profits will benefit the local community and school.
