‘Roundup at the Redroom’ - 12.30 through 6pm

Notice: Due to circumstances beyond our control Tami Neilson is unfortunately no longer able to perform in this event.

The Redroom under the Refreshment Room, Scenic Drive hosts this unique event.

An afternoon of southern hospitality. The BBQ sizzles, and the craft beer flow, whilst listening to some of the best local Alt Country sounds Aotearoa has on offer. Bernie Griffen and the Thin men feature a stunning band of musicians including the incomparable Steve Roach on guitar-slinging duties. Bernie is the long-time and much loved host of 95 bfm’s Border radio show and draws influence from blues, from the country-rock of Gram Parsons. They’ll be joined the famed and ‘baddest’ uke band out west The Nukes, classic Americana with a twist with the fabulous Doughboys, and great alt country sounds from Lost Demos, Louis Mortlock, and Velvetland.

This concert is part of Titirangi Festival of Music 2015 – March 27 to 29th.

Preparations are well under way for the tenth anniversary Titirangi Festival of music being held between Friday 27th to Sunday 29th March. The festival will see the village come alive with 3 action-packed days of music, with the traditional blend of local performers and special guests, and plenty of free family-friendly activities.

The last two years has seen major concerts sold out with many people having to be turned away at the door, so this year, for the first time, locals will get a chance to snap up tickets at an early-bird price.

Tickets for our main ticketed concerts will go on sale on February 1st through the Titirangi Pharmacy and on Eventfinder, these will include tickets for the Phoenix Foundation on Friday 27th and Nathan Haines Saturday 28th.

The first release of tickets will run through February and any tickets left will go on sale through March with a final ticket price for doorsales. With people being able to save a full $10-00 per ticket if they buy through February.

The full programme will be announced on our website www.titirangifestival.co.nz

The line up includes nationally known performers, many with strong local connections, these include Paddy Free (with Nathan Haines), Moana and the Tribe, Doprah (with Phoenix Foundation), SJD, Bernie Griffen, the Nukes, and many, many more.

The festival 2015 is bringing Titirangi village international class acts presented with fantastic sound and light production. So make sure you take up the opportunity to grab great value tickets early for these concerts, as many shows will sell out.
