Tai Tapu Sculpture Garden and Project, 199 Cossars Road, Tai Tapu

All Ages

Tai Tapu Sculpture Garden (TSG) is an evolving sculpture garden and native regeneration project. We open to the public during the first three weekends in March.

This annual outdoor exhibition features permanent works and others for sale by some of New Zealand's favourite sculptors.

2015 Exhibitors: Graham Bennett, Bing Dawe, Alison Erickson, Ben Foster, Hannah Kidd, Annabel Menzies-Joyce, Doug Neil, Rebecca Rose, Llew Summers, Marté Szirmay, Greer Twiss and Robyn Webster.

Enjoy seeing the regrowth of native trees and shrub: over 6000 natives have been planted since 2010 making TSG a sanctuary for sculpture lovers and native birds.

Park Details:
Coffee caravan and water station onsite.

Entry is $10 pp and free to 16 years and under. Catalogue included in gate fee.

All welcome and onsite parking is free. The Garden is pram and wheelchair friendly. All tracks are grassed and the terrain is mostly flat. Picnickers are welcome during open hours (11am - 3pm).

What to bring: cash (no eftpos facilities available due to limited satellite reception), sunblock, a floppy hat and your camera. You should allow an hour to enjoy the one hectate garden - you're welcome to spend as long as you like.

In case of (heavy) rain, please call Melissa 021 24 22 462.
Tai Tapu Sculpture Garden (TSG) is in a sheltered valley. If the weather is awful in town, it's probably still lovely at TSG.

Nearby: The (world famous in Canterbury) Raspberry Cafe and The Store.
