Saturday Morning Art Club
Theme: Outdoors
Age 7- 11

This fun-filled class will develop children’s artistic skills, inspire and encourage them to express their ideas creatively. They’ll be amazed at how they can turn what they imagine into their own incredible artworks.
Our classroom is connected to UNICEF’s Child Friendly Cities Initiative*, a global project that supports our understanding of a city that is fit for all. Working with two skilled tutors the class will be progressed through different projects and experience using a range of media to express their ideas with paint, sculpture, illustration, book making and more.

*The Child Friendly City Initiative aims to guide cities and other systems of local governance in the inclusion of children’s rights as a key component of their goals, policies, programmes and structures. We are proud to support the Waitemata Local Board’s work towards making their area child friendly. For more information go to childfriendlycities.org
