Pic's Granary Gigs

The Granary Festival Café is home to an exciting line-up of local and visiting musicians, playing free for your listening pleasure.

Come early and enjoy a fine local beverage and a snack from Harrys, before heading to the Festival Mainstage or next door to the Nelson Musical Theatre. Or, of course, you can simply enjoy some free entertainment, courtesy of the Nelson Arts Festival and Pic’s.

Then get your dancing shoes on and come back later for some more great music. All free.

Make sure you arrive in good time as free events have been known to fill up quickly.

A dynamic combination of experience and enthusiasm, this group loves to make music together just as much as you love to hear it.

Sophie Ricketts and Don Manunui are a regular fixture at Rhythm and Brown on Thursday nights, along with Peter Clark with his cajón (drum box) and Andrew Leachman with his incredible skills on the saxophone. These guys will get your toes tapping and your heart beating in time, as Sophie's soothing vocals bring a fresh twist to your old favourite tunes.
