Learn how to bump’n’grind, shimmy and shake while getting fit in a fun and safe environment.

Based off the sultry moves of burlesque dancing these group fitness classes aim to improve muscle tone, physical fitness and promote positive body image. Classes are suitable for women 16 and over of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels. No nudity required.

About Red Delicious Burlesque Academy
Established in 2012 in Palmerston North, New Zealand, Red Delicious Burlesque Academy is designed to introduce audiences to the art, and culture of Burlesque. Suitable for those who just want to get fit, or are just curious about the art through to those who wish to strut their stuff on stage, the Red Delicious Burlesque Academy has something for everyone.

The Academy runs six week block courses for all levels for both guys and gals, workshops, Shimmy Shakercise Burlesque Fitness classes, private lessons, and hens/ ladies night parties.

All classes are run by MisRed Delicious, an internationally acclaimed Burlesque Entertainer, multiple title winner, and the co-producer and owner of New Zealand Burlesque Festival.
