Friends of Seatoun School (FoSS) Presents an Evening with Dr Sven Hansen, Founder of the Resilience Institute

When the Going Gets Tough...

"...more than education, experience, or training, an individual’s level of resilience will determine who succeeds and who fails." Harvard Business Review, 2002

Resilience, or the ability to bounce back from adversity, is increasingly regarded as an important life skill for adults and children.

Join Dr Sven Hansen, Founder of the Resilience Institute, for an entertaining, thought-provoking evening about the value of resilience, what to do when it falters and how to bounce back. He’ll offer tools for staying calm and focused under times of stress and how to manage destructive emotions. He’ll discuss the educational importance of taking risks, being courageous and creative.

A medical practitioner with an MBA, Dr Hansen, has specialised in preventative medicine, emotional intelligence, cognitive training and stress mastery. With a background in Special Forces and Sports Medicine, he has run corporate wellness programmes since 1988, and set up the Resilience Institute in 2002.

Dr Hansen is an exceptional speaker whose work is evidence based and relevant for all ages and walks of life. We are delighted to be able to host this evening at a considerably discounted rate. Tickets are limited so get in quick!
