All Ages

Basic human movement is three-dimensional and spiralling in its nature. Pilates 3D uses non-traditional Pilates movements, along with traditional Pilates exercises with a non-traditional twist (or spiral!). That way we bring the whole body together as we move, creating more mobility, minimising injury in our everyday lives, and creating strength through movement.

We work through the entire kinetic chain of our bodies, from our feet to our heads. In moving with our bodies' spirals, we help to release the fascia and feel amazing.

This class is open for all levels; no previous Pilates experience is required. If you have an injury or any rehabilitative needs, this course may not be suitable. Please contact Paula (move@fluidformfitness.co.nz) to discuss whether this course is for you.

The venue is Anomaly Dance Studio, on the corner of Rangitikei and Wellesbourne Streets. Enter through the door on the left and head straight up the stairs.

Ultra comfortable Airex mats are provided, to support your body properly (no aching backs or knees). Your instructor, Paula, is a qualified Pilates mat instructor, with a passion helping people understand how their bodies move and improving how they move in their everyday lives. She trained under Rebekah Rotstein (USA) in the standing and spiralling movements that make up a large part of the Pilates 3D class.

The course runs for 8 weeks, on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm (August 13 to October 15). Sessions last for one hour.

The class size is limited, so you won't get lost in the crowd. Registration is essential.
