Open Daily in the Gallery. Explore what it is to be Pasifika and living in the Manawatū through stories and objects, from both the community and Te Manawa collections.

Featuring audio visual profiles and interviews, Pasifika: Treasures in the Manawatū is the first time such a diverse selection of the Museum's Pasifika objects have been displayed in a single exhibition (there are more than 500 objects from the Pacific in the collections).

The extended season for this exhibition is an opportunity to delve into more of the rich stories behind some new treasures in the Te Manawa collections. Who collected these objects, why were they collected, and how did they come to be in Palmerston North?

With support from the Pacific Development and Conservation Trust.
