This is a great day for first-timers and regulars to New Zealand’s only native botanic garden. Guest speakers include, Dr. Leon Perrie from Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, who will deliver a lecture on understanding and valuing our plants and Dr. Phil Lester from Victoria University of Wellington, who is giving a talk on the hidden lives of native bees. There will be plants for sale, guided walks and refreshments available.

12pm Lecture: Understanding and valuing our plants
