An exhibition of New Zealand landscape photography to raise money for the Red Cross Nepal Earthquake Appeal.

Spencer Clubb is an accomplished, internationally recognised landscape and wildlife photographer whose images have featured in numerous books and calendars by publishers including Lonely Planet and Potton & Burton Publishing (Formerly Craig Potton Publishing). He has received recognition through a number of National and International photography awards and competitions and is currently a finalist in this year's prestigious New Zealand Geographic Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards.

Spencer's work showcases the beauty and grandeur of New Zealand through a series of colour and black and white images. His passion is visiting and photographing New Zealand's wild and beautiful places, particularly the mountainous regions of our National Parks and other protected areas.

Spencer also has a strong affinity towards the country of Nepal, and the Nepalese people who have recently suffered a major and catastrophic earthquake.

Tens of thousands of people are still in urgent need of emergency shelter before the impending monsoon season. Approximately 850,000 houses have been damaged or destroyed by the earthquakes and more than 225,000 people are currently sheltering under Red Cross tents and tarpaulins.

Spencer will be donating all profits from the sale of prints at the exhibition to the Red Cross Nepal Earthquake Appeal.

Thanks to the generosity of Grant from NZEditions printing services and Simon from Lewis Paape Gallery and framers, large framed prints will be on sale at special exhibition prices from $395 which includes a $200 donation to the Nepal Earthquake Appeal. Framed prints can be purchased at the exhibition, by emailing Spencer (spencer_clubb@yahoo.co.uk) or contacting him via his website (spencerclubb.net).

The exhibition is being held in the ground floor of Conservation House, next to the Department of Conservation Visitors Centre on Manners Street. The exhibition is open to the public during normal business hours. Entry is free but donations to the Red Cross Nepal Earthquake Appeal are encouraged.
