As seen on My Kitchen Rules, Dai and Dal have a passion to show Kiwis the virtues of Lao cooking and more.

As hip young mums goes, these two really know their stuff when it comes to cooking for a hungry family but at the same time are always keen to keep up with what’s on trend in the food industry, therefore proving that having a young family shouldn't stop you from following your dreams. These two besties are yin and yang in personalities but are united in confidence and ability once they're in the kitchen. Not only do these talented young ladies want to educate and show case flavours from their heritage but they also have big dreams of building a Lao cuisine empire, supplying Asian sauces and marinades to supermarkets all over New Zealand. But first on their list is their debut pop-up restaurant. As part of the 2015 Visa Wellington on a Plate festival, for one night only, Dai and Dal will be giving their customers an exclusive opportunity to dine at their restaurant, aptly titled "Mint". With a modern Asian theme and an emphasis on classic South East Asian flavours, this will be a culinary dining experience not to be missed.
